We had a wonderful time in Okefenokee Swamp on our way to Florida. We canoed the day away amazed at the docile alligators basking in the sun along the banks. The water is so still, it mirrors trees and other vegetation perfectly. The only disturbances were our canoe "wake" and an occasional diving dragonfly or swimming alligator in our path. There was not a mosquito to be had in the park much to our surprise. Just beautifully warm weather and adventure as we paddled through these ancient looking forests. What an amazing place!
