On a beautiful day in August, all of Bridger's important folks arrived for a birthday bash. The traditional Dagwood's giant sub and Upland beer brought parents and kids together to celebrate the day Bridger entered the world three years prior.

We must have the most patient, sweet friends in the entire world. First the kids took turns pulling the strings in hopes the piñata would deliver treats, but after all the strings were pulled we resorted to taking turns whacking the piñata.
At last! The kids were so polite that they gathered around the spoils to take turns choosing a piece of candy or prize. This without any prompting by parents. Sweet kids :).
B's favorite dessert...cupcakes! Jane helped to make this awesome selection of sweet treats. Bridger ate three consecutively in his birthday frenzy.
Mmmmmm.
Hank's family gave B this firefighter unitard and what a hit! He wore this thing all around town, to school, etc. for months!
Grandma Renee came to the after party the next morning...B showed off his new gear.
Grandma Barb and Grandpa Mel shared in the celebration too. B is lucky to have such sweet grandparents.
