Lighting of the square in Bloomington the Friday after Thanksgiving is a family tradition for us with 3 of 3 years here under our belt. Instead of waiting in the cold, we arrived just for countdown and a peek at the big tree inside the old courthouse. Let the magic begin.

(this pic is a Christmas tree by the way)
Despite prodding, Bridger insists he just wants "presents" for Christmas. I think he'd be happy with the mini-candy cane he got from Santa at the Christmas market.

What a treat to have both pairs of grandparents in town for a day of festive fun. Roasted chestnuts (which were terrible by the way), Santa, hot chocolate, reindeer, and a sleigh ride...one fun morning in the cold.

Grandma Renee and Grandpa Harold on the carraige ride.

Reindeer! So soft and warm.
