One Month

Bridger is now a month old. To celebrate, we took him on his first hike down Clear Creek Trail on the south side of town. He loved riding in his stroller and stopping for lunch along the trail. Looking forward to many more trips down the trail. With a trailblazing, mountain man name, he better be a hiker. Once we returned home, Bridger played on the couch for a while, seemingly alert enough to follow an object and reach for things. Of course, newborns are not supposed to acquire these skills until much later, but we'd like to believe he was actually playing with us. He is starting to be much more alert. As we sat eating lunch the other day, Tom pondered the thought of having to share 1/2 his sandwich with Bridger and I looked at our little man and said, "someday you are going to be able to grow a mustache". Weird! For now, we'll keep the wonderment of our newborn going, knowing it will go by like the blink of an eye. Happy 1 Month Birthday Bridger.
